SOLD! Here at The Bass Palace "Player-Grade" basses are welcomed with open arms! I'd rather groove on a well-worn bass than stare at a mint piece of firewood hanging on a wall somewhere. This bass is 100% vibe and not surprisingly, that translates into 110% tone! Natural with a maple neck this bass has been well-played but also well taken care of. The natural ash body has beautiful grain and the neck is perfectly straight with clean frets and a truss rod that still works as it should. Of course there is an epoxy preamp for that good ol' Stingray tone that just cuts like a knife but can also be tamed for serious fingerstyle playing. For the record, there is one changed pot (dated 1976) and a Fender knob but everything else on the bass is correct and original. Weighs in at a hair under 11 lbs and includes a newer Music Man hard case.
